Artists Brenda Cruz-Wolf and Daniela Antelo met at the University of Houston in 2012. Since then, they have collaborated for several years on site-specific performances, experimental dance films, and installations in Houston, Texas. By combining their individual strengths — experimental movement and performance with video production and editing, they create immersive works that respond directly to each site.
Their goal is to use the raw elements of these environments to explore the relationship between body and space, drawing viewers into the physical world of abstract movement and dissolving the boundaries between audience and environment.
